About Us...
MAD@first is the Youth Fellowship at First Magherafelt Presbyterian Church. It meets at 6:00pm - 7:30pm on Sundays. We start with our Praise in the church with the adults in the evening service, and then go up to the Graham room. MAD stands for Making A Difference, and it was started for Secondary School kids by the Rev. Jonathan Curry, four years ago. Now, with the help of Jacki Hamilton, Nicola Clark, Elaine Crossett, Laura Crossett, Phillip Crossett and Melanie Boyce - along with assistant minister, Keith Hibbert - MAD has grown, and is now a great place to have fun, fellowship and meet with friends! Once a month, there is a Coffee Bar, which involves a lot of singing, games, talks and guest speakers! Also once a month there is a Bible Study, and other weeks there are Movie/Music nights, Praise and Pudding Nights and Discussion Nights.

Prayer Points
If you could Pray for:
1) The growth and development as a Christian of everyone in MAD
2) Strength and support for the Leaders who give up so much of their time for the kids
3) That we would be more outward looking for our church and MAD
4) After MAD14, we planned to go out some Sunday night and visit the elderly in Nursing homes. We did, and found it a humbling and challenging experience. Pray that we will be able to do it again and develop a relationship with the elderly of our congregation.
